Raman Lidar Vertical Profiles Best Estimates

Baseline VAP

The Raman Lidar Profile Best Estimate value-added product (RLPROFBE VAP) consolidates data from three RLPROF VAPs—Feature Detection and Extinction (RLPROF FEX), Temperature (RLPROF TEMP), and Mixing Ratio (RLPROF MR)—into a single best‑estimate data set. It provides temperature, water vapor, aerosol extinction, backscatter, depolarization, potential temperature, and relative humidity, along with corresponding quality‑check flags for each variable.
