The new data are available from four radars at the Bankhead National Forest (BNF) atmospheric observatory in northern Alabama.

Reflectivity and linear depolarization ratio are shown for the Ka-Band ARM Zenith Radar general sensitivity mode from the CoURAGE field campaign during a December 15–16, 2024, snow event. The top plot shows equivalent reflectivity factor from below -20 to 40 dBz over a range of 0 to 14,000 meters. The bottom plot shows linear depolarization ratio, channel unspecified from -35 to -15 dB over the same height range (0 to 14,000 meters).

Characterized and Calibrated KAZR Data Now Available for CoURAGE Campaign

ARM has released characterized and corrected Ka-Band ARM Zenith Radar (KAZR) data from the 2024–2025 Coast-Urban-Rural Atmospheric Gradient Experiment (CoURAGE) in Baltimore, Maryland.
