This sample plot from ARM’s CoURAGE field campaign shows the aerosol particle size distributions for the APS, SMPS, and merged product. The diameter mobility on the x-axis covers 300 to 1100 nm, while the dN/dlogDp (1/cm^3) on the y-axis covers 10^-2 to 10^3.

Merged Aerosol Size Distribution Data Available From Additional Sites

A value-added product that merges aerosol size distributions from the scanning mobility particle sizer and aerodynamic particle sizer is now in production for ARM sites in Alabama, Maryland, and the eastern Atlantic Ocean.

A time-series plot generated using the PrecipBE Jupyter Notebook shows the cumulative precipitation during a TRACER precipitation event on January 8–9, 2022. The plot depicts the event mean, mean ± standard deviation (σ), minimum, and maximum, which are all included in the precipbetseries product datastream files.

New Precipitation Best Estimate Product Available for Evaluation

Processed using a per-event approach, this new value-added product cuts overhead and streamlines the use of ARM precipitation data for process understanding and model evaluation studies.

Gridded Scanning Cloud Radar Data Produced for BNF Observatory

These products make it easier for scientists to use scanning ARM cloud radar observations from the Bankhead National Forest (BNF) atmospheric observatory for analyses of clouds.

This image provides a composite of Southern Great Plains geopotential heights (meters, contours) and anomalies (colors) at 500 hPa at 04:00 UTC for eight self-organizing map nodes. The number of days within each node is specified in the title of each subplot. Nodes 7 and 11 pre-trough regime; node 9 is post-trough regime; nodes 5, 6, and 10 are zonal regime; and nodes 4 and 8 are anticyclonic regime.

New Synoptic Weather Regime Classification Product Ready for Evaluation

This value-added product helps reveal how certain weather patterns influence cloud formation, aerosol transport, and other atmospheric features over a region. It also provides broader context for ARM site observations.
