Located on the coast of the Arctic Ocean, Oliktok Point was home to the third ARM Mobile Facility (AMF3) from 2013 to 2021. This site is extremely isolated yet still accessible by road.

Although Alaska generally experiences freezing temperatures, with winter temperatures dipping as low as -50°F, temperatures during the summer can peak as high as 70°F. There are strong easterly winds all year long.
