MSU Air Quality Monitor

1 February 2025 - 31 December 2025

Lead Scientist: Richard Damoah

Observatory: AMF (ARM Mobile Facility 1)

The aim of this research is to install air quality monitoring instrument at the COURAGE field site at Lake Clifton to study the influnce of Low-Level Jet on Pollution in the Region. We will install air quality instrument, including an automated air quality drone that will sample air pollutants such as NOx, CO, O3, PM etc. The drone would be programed to perform three missions daily (6am, 12pm and 6pm). We would also install PurplrAir on site for continues monitoring of PM2.5.
